..Si ceva vesti bune! Wednesday, May 27 2009

Rolling Stones, The Killers, Amy Winehouse si Fall Out Boy  s-au pus pe inregistrat cover-uri celebre respectiv Rolling Stones cu ” Under the Boardwalk” a trupei The Drifters, The Killers cu ” Hotel California” a trupei The Eagles, Amy Winehouse cu ” Cupid” a compozitorului Sam Cooke si least but not last Fall Out Boy cu ” Beat it” a faimosului Michael Jackson.Toate fondurile stranse in urma vanzarii albumului vor fi donati catre diferite actiuni si organizatii caritabile. Admirabil zic eu.

Monday, May 25 2009

Oprit apoi intr-o mica ceainarie (daca-i pot spune asa) japoneza, unde am savurat o limonada si discutii in toate limbile pamantului. Enjoy!

1 MAI MUNCITORESC! Thursday, May 1 2008

Something common for eastern European people to celebrate the great 1 Mai Muncitoresc.Me ? I am just happy i never got to see the famous parades and well trained pupils who adored and cherished the mighty Ceausescu. All this because of fear of course.Fear of LOSING something.Something like losing their Life,Home or a Dear one.Now the people who are old enough and passed through the communism period know better. They also have bitter sweet memories about this celebration. Why? Cause they were able to have a day off in the middle of the week ,they could watch the “mighty parades” or spend the day with the family…Sad. Now,today ,younger people use this celebration as a reason to get away ,bbq and beer, beach&booz&DJ,hiking,family..etc

Slowly we have build our own traditions, the ones we liked ,not the ones that we were obligated to have ,to take..Have we?!

Meanwhile, something for you to listen and remember,or to listen and laugh, who knows? …

Tiesto and Bucharest challenge ‘07 Saturday, May 19 2007

Two days ago i had a big surprise when Tiesto popped here to mix at the invitation of a local mobile phone company.Normally events like this are known with at least 6 months in advance, especially when we’re talking about Tiesto, who’s been voted the world’s best DJ three times..So when i found with like a week before the event he will be here i thought its just plain talk, but two days ago i was amazed all was true, and i got to listen two hours of “just be”. It was awesome. Now today it’s different.I just hope it won’t rain.If not i will miss seeing a Maserati,Aston Martin,Lamborghini,Porsche and more, race. That’s right. Our first legal formula 3 race, with beautiful cars on top :P   Of course i am more interested in the GT3 part :D ,well lets just hope it won’t rain today cause last night did and kind of heavy..Anyway have a fun weekend and no rain !

And a Happy New Year.. Sunday, Jan 28 2007

It’s a bit late to say that but i just got back home a week ago and i haven’t had the chance to wish to my virtual world those three words.Anyway, a good friend of mine was saying that i should start writing a book. Said nobody will believe me if it’s ever published. Kind of funny right?   Well i left the country on 31 dec. and got home a week ago like i said earlier.Had to change three flights to get to my destination but finally i did. I got there late and new years dinner was strange and unusual for me.I found myself surrounded with a lot of unknown people , and i tried my best to have fun. Well the whole adventure was strange to me , time consuming, irritating, confusing and the list could go on. Don’t know where all the magic went. I probably used it too much in the begining and now i am all left out. I have no magic left , i can’t change things anymore, and if in the past i was sweet and quiet, now i am bitter and angry. Don’t know why i can’t control myself like i used to, maybe i had enough and i need to break loose, maybe i want to try the other side of life, enjoy and don’t care too much about people. I really don’t know. I been told that i  have changed, now can a person change that much in three months? Given the fact that he/she has the same habits, same work, life.. I mean i  think it’s hard. Maybe on the surface, like he/she gained or lost weight, changed hair style, different outfits, but never on the inside, not in such a short time. See sometimes  we say to others : you look changed, your not the same person anymore. Now why would they say that without a logical explanation. If a group of people who don’t know each other will tell  you the same ,maybe you should start wonder, but if only a person says that and the group says the opposite then…who has changed, you or I ?!

Merry Merry Christmas Sunday, Dec 24 2006

Like somebody said, Jesus is the reason in this season. So Christmas is here.I guess everybody is more or less prepared for this holiday, even me,even i don’t fancy so much this time of year.Maybe not this year anyway. So i decided to spend it at home quiet with my parents,we had a nice dinner, nice chit chat, and now back to my ol’ stuff :P Tomorrow probably another lunch spent in the family and who knows maybe i’ll even go out to a club somewhere, even tough i rather stay at home and lounge. We shall see..In the meantime i hope all my dear and loved ones(even the ones that don’t know i love them :P ) will spend this holiday in the same nice atmosphere like i did.Happy and merry Christmas to you all, may you be loved, cared for,be happy, and share a bit of your joy with the less fortunate ones, they deserve it too…

P.s – I wonder what Santa brought you ..?  :) )

St. Nicholas Tuesday, Dec 5 2006

As i was doing my things,i just realized tomorrow it’s St. Nicholas,an old tradition preparing us for Christmas.I call it the x-mas preview because we get to receive little presents in our boots.Yup,you got it right, not in the famous sock hanged over the fireplace ,but in our boots. So little kids need to polish them boots well and make them shiny so St. Nicholas can pass by and give them something sweet. It’s a cute tradition and even though i all grown up i like to see some little sweets in my boots when i go check in the morning :P .So don’t forget to make a sweet surprise to the ones you love & care, especially to little kids,i am sure they will appreciate it a lot! And by the way,do share what you got in them boots.Waiting for feedback :P

St. Andrew Thursday, Nov 30 2006

Today we celebrate St. Andrew, patron and protector of Bucharest, among others. It’s a big celebration and what makes it so special,is that, is the night of the undead, witches, spells, incantation, black magic…They say that all is done tonight as in spells and such, has double chances and it’s twice as strong.Well with all that bad things,we have to find a way to protect ourselves right? And what do we use? Garlic. Yup,we use garlic to keep all the bad things away.So surround yourself  with a clove of garlic tonight if you don’t want an unexpected meeting with an undead :P
