Rolling Stones, The Killers, Amy Winehouse si Fall Out Boy s-au pus pe inregistrat cover-uri celebre respectiv Rolling Stones cu ” Under the Boardwalk” a trupei The Drifters, The Killers cu ” Hotel California” a trupei The Eagles, Amy Winehouse cu ” Cupid” a compozitorului Sam Cooke si least but not last Fall Out Boy cu ” Beat it” a faimosului Michael Jackson.Toate fondurile stranse in urma vanzarii albumului vor fi donati catre diferite actiuni si organizatii caritabile. Admirabil zic eu.
Oprit apoi intr-o mica ceainarie (daca-i pot spune asa) japoneza, unde am savurat o limonada si discutii in toate limbile pamantului. Enjoy!
Two days ago i had a big surprise when Tiesto popped here to mix at the invitation of a local mobile phone company.Normally events like this are known with at least 6 months in advance, especially when we’re talking about Tiesto, who’s been voted the world’s best DJ three times..So when i found with like a week before the event he will be here i thought its just plain talk, but two days ago i was amazed all was true, and i got to listen two hours of “just be”. It was awesome. Now today it’s different.I just hope it won’t rain.If not i will miss seeing a Maserati,Aston Martin,Lamborghini,Porsche and more, race. That’s right. Our first legal formula 3 race, with beautiful cars on top Of course i am more interested in the GT3 part ,well lets just hope it won’t rain today cause last night did and kind of heavy..Anyway have a fun weekend and no rain !
Still sick of course. This is a though nut to crack apparently.Oh well i guess i have to wait. It’s been a week and three days now since i have this nasty cold.Let’s see how much longer.Meanwhile quick update on last weekend.Friday indoors,Saturday went a road trip.”Just ” 750 km from Saturday night to Sunday evening. Was pretty cool to get away like that.Sunday night had a strange meeting at a strange and creepy place.Turned out for the best finally,i did not stay long and came home to sleep for fifteen hours! So anyways back to the title, events to come this week. This Friday,Godskitchen presents:Paul Oakenfold .Has to be pretty interesting i say. Then again we have the already known Kristal with D’j Love Night on Saturday night, and after hours as almost every Friday in Gossip .So you have places to go at this weekend.Well for me it’s going to be Paul Oakenfold on Friday and another road trip on Sunday. This time just 1300 km ) .Can’t wait.
A bit late, but better late then never.I decided to update on what i did this past weekend So Friday night i went out late (again!) but this time i had nice surprise. So i went to Cuando where they were having a so called presentation,Irina Schrotter autumn/winter presentation which was composed of four or five girls(don’t remember). So much for a presentation..Anyway the party crashed kinda early so i guess we kinda had to go.Overall was a nice night, should have lasted longer…Now about Saturday, i finally manged to get out of the house earlier than passed midnight ,so i went downtown to Edgar’s pub where i had a drink then decided to go to Cabaret, since last week was too full. When i arrived there it was ok,nice music ,not too many people,ok i guess. Then it started to get crowded as hell as for where i was, i had to go hug all the people to get to the toilet:)) So yea, good thing i was seated, which is probably the best thing when a club gets too full.Sit down and enjoy the crowd*kinda of* Anyway at about 3.30 am we decided to leave the joint since it started to get kinda lame,so went to eat at Everest and then home to our nice, comfy beds Ahh ,i almost forgot about Sunday night when yes i went out again, but i won’t disclose the location for some reasons of my own It was umm, weird and surprised me they had decent music,up to a point where guess what i did ? I decided to go home I guess that was my weekend.
Since Friday night i went nowhere,i decided to go out on Saturday(yesterday).Where to go,where to go? I heard this story that in this club they had a good martini,so i decided to go,even though the name of the place sounds rather strange. It’s called Embryo. So i get there late as usual, had no idea how the club was,but anyway i decided to enter.I can say the design is quite interesting and nice, minimal, simple but in the same time classy.White and red are the main colors. Two big screens downstairs where you could see Fantomas and listen to funky music.A sort of funky i defined it.I ordered the martini, which they had,i tried to enjoy it but it was made with vodka and thus too strong for me…What i really enjoyed were the olives(three not two ) and the fact that they served me the martini in an actual martini glass.I finished my olives and changed the club. This music was kind of annoying,so i needed to get the hell out.Went to Cabaret, which was so full you felt the need of fresh air from just going down the stairs. It was fully packed. So no place for us standing among such crowd. The martini gave me a bit of a burning sensation,so i said what else to do at two in the morning when the clubs you like are full? Hmm,let’s go eat.Which i did.Went to this place next to the national theatre. If you know the area ,you know what place i am talking about where i had a good salad and a yummy pizza, almost calzone like someone said. And with our belly full who felt the need of dancing and drinking when the clock showed us it was three in the morning .So we called it a night and that was my saturday night. How about yours?
My first post, and i am going to start it by writing a bit what happened during the weekend in the clubs. We had a 3 year existence celebration at Kristal on Friday night, a 13 year celebration at Studio Martin on Saturday night, and again on Saturday we had the first Silent Disco event. In case your wondering what the silent disco it’s all about i can explain in a few words: two dj’s for start, wireless headphones, you can choose the style of music to listen to while your neighbour does the same, and all this while the dj’s are mixing different styles at your disposal.Pretty cool right? Too bad it was an “exclusive” event and not all people had access to the party.Oh well hope you enjoyed if you were there, and if you did and have any comments at all, feel free to comment
